Studying with one of the leading Pilates trainers in North America and Europe, Siri Dahrma Galliano, Maria’s method of instruction focuses on creating awareness of Pilates’ techniques regardless of her client’s age or physical condition. She is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
With a passion for form, details, and precision, Maria’s sessions are thoughtfully crafted to ensure that each client achieves his or her personal fitness goals. In 2006, Maria opened her state of the art studio – Purely Pilates. Purely Pilates offers personalized exercise programs by certified instructors in a serene environment in the heart of Larchmont. Each instructor brings a wonderful mix of enthusiasm, dedication, and creativity to her teaching. The studio provides private, semi-private and mat classes in a contemporary, peaceful environment – novice to expert.
Olivia Olivieri is a professionally trained dancer from New York who has been in the fitness industry for most of her life. Olivia started dancing at the age of four and began working professionally at the age of twelve. After high school she moved to Florida for college and nearly two years into her studies she felt compelled to leave because of offers and opportunities to dance in Los Angeles. For a few years she choreographed and danced in music videos but was soon lead into the world of fitness.
After years of study and working as a personal trainer in fitness centers throughout Los Angeles she began helping with rehabilitative exercises in physical therapy offices. These exercises incorporated factions of Pilates. She began to see the benefits of Pilates outweighed most other disciplines and decided to focus full time on the art of Pilates.
Her passion for fitness, dedication and love for helping people reach their fitness goals over the past six years has made her one of LA's best and most sought after instructors.
